A simple mediocre album with repetitive simple templates from Harris jayaraj that lacks creativeness

The album starts with an intro track Oh Ringa Ringa reminds us of AR Rahmans TAXI TAXI . Harris Jayaraj comes out clean by lifting(sorry stealing) the tune and adding his own touches to it. It is his way of saying “YOU WILL TAKE WHAT WE WILL GIVE YOU AND YOU HAVE TO LIKE IT”

The second track being Mun Andhi…Simply sedative …and that’s too much to say about it …
Once again showcases the tune lifting abilities of him . The introduction
tune reminds us of  12B and some where down, the tune is lifted from “Thoti Jaya -- UYIRE ENN UYIRE” Brilliance brought out by some Sound engineering works

The third track Yella Lama  Harris churns out a peppy number by combing the templates of his previous tracks in Ghajini (RAHATULLA,X MACHI) . A massive makeover …

Yamma Yamma… Harris has used in SPB vocals for maximum impact , yet an old hated tune that blends in Mun Andhi template in the middle for obvious reasons . Will gain in charts after the movie hits the screens …

Innum Enna Thozha… Trying to create an empowering song by roping in Pa. Vijay lyrics seems to work well for this no…Motivational with old wordses

The Rise Of Damo… (Mandarin). A lilting track with ambient Chinese percussions well fitted

How come other music directors don’t know this trick and can’t come up with chart busters every time…

He can make many more "Aadhavans" and "Kos"& “7am Arivu ”, as long as they get lapped up by masses, who cares? This is another atrocious album but Harris will sweep the awards next year. Congrats!

CREDITS- SEVANTHI TEAM

1.      Kaiya Thoda Venaa..  Packed with ambient orchestration . Typical functional music that is passable…
2.      Oru Naal Vidumurai... A song that is magnificently resonant. With minimal music that is lilting and hummable,  the Violin interlude that comes later in the song adds that oomph…(A must listen)
3.      Doodaa... The title song is a bit pedestrian. Roping in TRAJENDRAN vocals creates that magic thought. A snazziest lyrical , especially  foot tapping ‘KUTHU’ beats that wraps up in end is sure to be a hit with youngsters.
4.      Nadhiyile... Silambarasan sounds more like Yuvan , Silambarasan chooses to bestow his soaring vocals for maximum impact. A simple, tuneful song that has varied pace .Intonated lyrics add grandeur to this number
5.      Vaa Vaa... a curious blend of Euphoria, predominantly youthful feel, chirpy. A mildly mocking track with sparkling backgrounds

Abishek-Lawrence definitely makes a noticeable composing debut in ‘DOO’. An entertaining soundtrack nevertheless!

The album has 2 show stopper tunes :{ 1. Dhenam Dhenam 2. Yenna Solla Pore}

2. Yenna Solla Pore – [Devi Sri Prasad, MLR Karthikeyan] is instantly hummable. Simple and likable from the very first listen .Roping in MLR Karthikeyan vocals adds soulfulness to this number…

3. Kaalangathale – [Karthik] with straight to heart melody and simple percussions this love ballad is definitely a worthy listen. Kathick’s vocals captivates the listeners…

While, Dhenam Dhenam - Benny Dayal, Baba Sehgal  is a predicable introduction song  with hero style lyrics penned for obvious reasons . 04. Orey Oru - Tippu, Harini , is just an average .

05. Pudikale Pudikuthu - Mukesh, Suchitra reminds us thiruvilayadal ( Danush& Shreya) last duet no ..

The album has 2 show stopper tunes. DSP never fails to impress us. The rest all are comparatively good. They may pick up once the movie hits the screens…
